Note: 2020 Course has been cancelled

In view of the constraints on travel, the risk of infection, the cancellation of some RACS activities over the next few weeks, we regret to inform you that the Dunedin Basic Medical Sciences Course has been cancelled for 2020.  Naturally we will provide a full refund of all fees.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and the decision has not been made lightly.

We look forward to seeing you next year.

Application Process

We will accept up to 90 candidates – first in first served.
Application Process:

  1. Complete the application form on your computer (not handwritten)
  2. Include a scan of passport-sized photo or attach a digital one if emailing
  3. Include supporting evidence from your RMO Co-ordinator, Surgical Supervisor or similar authority, that you have been granted leave to attend.
  4. Fees are payable on application. Payment details via internet banking or cheque are in the application form.

Overseas Applicants

Overseas applicants should forward a bank draft in NZ currency (registered airmail is recommended), or pay by direct credit into the Dunedin Basic Medical Sciences Course bank account. (details on application form). Please do not send Australian currency or cheques. Bank drafts and New Zealand cheques should be made out to ‘Dunedin Basic Medical Sciences Course.’ WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS.
